Buckingham Palace! We went there for the changing of the guards. Of course, we ended up being miles away and didn't actually see much, but the music was nice. And we had a nice discussion about..something. I don't remember what we talked about. But it was interesting!

So, I had a fun time. Well, except for all the walking. And the part where there were no seats on the train home, so I had to stand for 20 minutes on the train. And there was no wifi, so my ipod was lonely. But, the pictures are cool. I'm going back Thursday, so there might be a London! pt 2 in the future...

ReplyDeleteFourth picture down is a Lamassu. One of my favorite statues ever! Why? Because (though you didn't take a picture of it), no matter how you look at it, it has the correct number of legs, which means it have five legs. Those Babylonians were so dang creative.

ReplyDeleteI think Philip was saying something about how the flag on top of the palace should be bigger, since it is the palace. And then Paul said something about how the Queen actually doesn't have any more power. Something like that. :D
ReplyDeleteThe only way I'd have pictures with me in it is if I got them from someone else's camera, or gave them mine. Neither are very likely to happen, but I'll see what I can do. :D
